This is Microsoft's corporate email system. It is usually accessed with the widely-used Microsoft Outlook software. It must run on a computer running the Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server operating systems and is included in the small business server editions of these products.

• Personal and shared calendars with group scheduling capabilities
• Access your email from any computer equipped with Microsoft Outlook on your network
• Email folders accessible using a web browser using Outlook Web Access (additional configuration to your network/firewall may be required)
• Capable of being clustered on multiple servers for maximum availability (Enterprise version only)
• Integration with Active Directory for a single point of administration for all users

Lotus Domino/Notes

Lotus Domino products provide much more than just e-mail. Many choose them for the extensive application development functionality of Lotus Domino Designer. Whether for simple threaded discussion databases, or for core, people-driven applications like customer relationship management, help desk or supply chain management, Domino and Notes can help your business thrive. Lotus Domino must run on a computer running the Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server operating systems.

It incorporates the following features:

• Personal calendars with group scheduling capabilities and resource/room reservation
• Domino Designer allows custom software (such as CRM systems) to be designed to run on the Lotus Notes client utilising the Domino server
• Email system accessible using a web browser (additional configuration to your network/firewall may be required)
• Capable of being clustered on multiple servers for maximum availability
• Replication allows remote users to synchronise their emails for offline use

Small Business Email Systems

Both Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino can be over-kill for a small business. We recognise this and offer a range of simpler and cheaper alternatives that will provide you with the email capabilities you need.

These systems incorporate the following features:

• Internal and external email
• A seperate email address and mailbox for each user
• Accessible using any POP3 and SMTP capable email client such as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express
